PRM began manufacturing remediation systems and equipment in January of 1990.  PRM's parent company, Phillips Electric Company of Durham, Inc was working on these systems in the mid 80's and as the demand for the work grew, it was natural to open up a separate company to handle the work.

In the early 90's, PRM was building equipment and installing the equipment. As time progressed, we found that our strengths were in manufacturing, so we focused our goals and entered a primarily manufacturing only work establishment.  Today, PRM is the largest environmental remediation equipment company in the country.  Our throughput of business is measured in quality.  As a result of our quality, quantity has followed suit. 

With a strong 25% yearly growth average, PRM has grown from small business to big business.

Our future goals include further diversification into other markets of similar business.  Wastewater and Industrial process treatment are areas that we feel we will grow.  Landfill Gas projects are also a growing strength for PRM.
